For Immediate Release, August 1, 2003 MERECO TECHNOLOGIES IS CERTIFIED TO THE ISO
9001:2000 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM STANDARD
Mereco Technologies Group Companies, and its operating units
Metachem Resins Corporation (MERECO) and DMS, has achieved
certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System
Standard. Mereco was originally certified to the ISO 9001:1994
Standard on December 18, 1997.
The transition audit was performed and certified by Det Norske
Veritas (DNV) of Houston, Texas.
Mereco is currently beginning work towards certification to the ISO
14000 environmental standard. Mereco management expects that
certification to the ISO 14000 environmental standard will occur
sometime in 2004.
