SPECTROPHOTOMETER
Mereco Technologies Group Companies, and its operating units
Metachem Resins Corporation (MERECO) and DMS, recently purchased a
new Shimadzu FTIR-8700 Spectrophotometer.
The Shimadzu FTIR 8700 is a fourier transform infrared
spectrophotometer used to perform qualitatIve and quantitative
analysis of object substances, according to Philip M. Papoojian,
President and COO. With Dynamic Optical Alignment, High S/N ratio,
Validation Software and History function maintaining full GLP
compliance, and user friendly Windows based operating software
including versatile and powerful printing functions as well as
library search facilities and quantitative analysis, this instrument
will enhance the Mereco laboratory capability. Accessories include
expandability with an Infrared microscope system, sample switchers
and automatic sample changer for transmission and reflectance
measurements as well as gas cells up to 200m for routine or research
applications.
