ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION
Mereco Technologies Group Companies Inc. including its operating
units Metachem Resins Corporation (Mereco) and DMS, has achieved
certification to the ISO 9001: 2000 Standard.
Mereco was initially certified to ISO 9001:1994 on December 18,
1997.
Every Mereco employee is expected to know and recite the Mereco
Quality Policy which states "Mereco Technologies is totally
committed to satisfying and delighting our customers by providing
them with high quality engineered solutions, products, and support
through continual improvement." The ISO Standard is a
comprehensive and demanding quality model for use by organizations
(both manufacturing and service) to certify their quality from
initial design and development for a desired product or service
through production, installation, and servicing. Compared to the ISO
9001:1994 Standard, the ISO 9001:2000 standard is more comprehensive
and takes a process approach to assessment and evaluation.
Certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Standards enables Mereco to
compete globally, and to keep growing our international business.
International sales grew at a rate of 25 % in 2006 and now
represents 30% of Mereco total sales.

MERECO Re-Certified to ISO 9001:2000
Metachem Resins Corporations (MERECO) and Mereco Technologies Group has once
again been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
Mereco's certificate number is DNV CERT-01578-2006-AQ-HOU-ANAB
The successful certification is the result of 12 months of exceptional
commitment by the Mereco team of employees to meeting the ISO quality requirements
and was directed by eight (8) certified ISO auditors, including Mereco top
management.
"Mereco first achieved ISO certification in 1997, and since then our
commitment to quality hasn't subsided" stated Herbert Spivack, Chairman and CEO.
Over the past twelve years, Mereco has evolved into a globally oriented
corporation. "International sales represented roughly 45% of Mereco business in
2008, and it is critical that we conform to this internationally recognized
quality standard" according to Philip M. Papoojian, President and COO and
Managing Director of Metachem. "Mereco is truly an ISO driven company and ISO
has had a profoundly positive effect on our operations and reputation as a high
quality manufacturer", Papoojian said.
Mereco will be working for certification to the new ISO 9001:2008 standard
during the coming year and expects to be certified in 2010.

SURVEILLANCE AUDIT
Mereco Technologies Group Companies, and its operating unit Metachem
Resins Corporation (MERECO), has once again successfully passed the
annual ISO 9001:2000 periodic surveillance audit conducted by Det
Norske Veritas (DNV) on April 17, 2007. In June 2003, the company
was certified to the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
During the most recent audit, Mereco did not receive any major or
minor non-conformances (NCN’s).

9001:2000 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM STANDARD
Mereco Technologies Group Companies, and its operating units Metachem Resins Corporation (MERECO) and DMS, has achieved
certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System
Standard. Mereco was originally certified to the ISO 9001:1994
Standard on December 18, 1997.
The transition audit was performed and certified by Det Norske
Veritas (DNV) of Houston, Texas.
Mereco is currently beginning work towards certification to the ISO
14000 environmental standard. Mereco management expects that
certification to the ISO 14000 environmental standard will occur
sometime in 2004.
