Mereco Exhibits at Fuel Cell Seminar
Posted: Nov 16, 2012
Mereco Technologies Group exhibited at the Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition held at the Mohegan Sun Resort, November 5-8, 2012.
By far the largest and longest-running U.S. conference focusing on hydrogen and fuel cells, the 2012 Seminar focused on commercialization, research & development, market value propositions, business solutions, and deployments. Presentations covered utility, residential, vehicle, and portable uses of hydrogen and fuel cells in addition to discussions on the challenges in costs, fuels, storage, reliability, lifetime, and adoptability. The Seminar continues to expand on its mission to advance global energy, environmental, and economic benefits offered by fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.
At the Seminar, Mereco launched its new product, Mereco 1650 FC Series Epoxy Elastomer, specifically designed for PEM Fuel Cell Stack Sealing. The product is lower in cost than silicone elastomers typically used for stack sealing, has excellent temperature performance from -40 C to +100 C, Shore A hardness of 65, low modulus for excellent compliance, low hydrogen permeation rate, excellent water resistance, and outstanding shock and vibration resistance.
The product is available in 55 gallon drums, 5 gallon pails, 1 gallon pails, quarts, pints, dual cartridges and pre-mixed and frozen syringes.
